how do I install a purchased product on my laptop?

I purchased and downloaded Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 to my
desktop, I would also like to use it on my laptop. However the product key is
not accepted on my laptop? How do I install the product on my laptop? or am I
only limited to use on just my desktop?

Home and Student 2007 should be installable on three different computers. If
the key isn't working... make sure that you're not misreading any of the
characters (e.g., 1 versus l, 0 versus O, etc.). If you're positive you're
doing it correctly, omit the key (if that's possible for the H&S version),
install, then select the telephone method for activation.

Check the EULA, I looked online and you should be able to install on 3
devices.

If your laptop came with a trial version of Office preinstalled by the
computer manufacturer, then you need to uninstall the trial version
before you install your purchased version.
