How do I install a Ticker or Crawler in ppt slide?

B

Boo Bradley

I am working on a group presentation for one of my college classes and we
want to have ticker/crawlers on the bottom of the slide. I don't know if
ticker/crawler is the right name. What we want is like the info that runs
across the bottom of the screen on CNN or other news station. Is it possible
to do this in powerpoint, and if so, how do I do it? Any ideas or info is
helpful. Thanks

Add an autoshape rectangle at bottom of slide that is your ticker
background. Create a very long text box (all 1 line) that has the
information you want displayed on your ticker. Position text box completely
off the active/visible slide in the lower left corner. Animate with a FLY IN
from right animation - set to VERY SLOW. Done.
