How do I install custom templates on multiple machines?

We have been asked to create some templates to be used on Word. Creating the
template is no problem, but we need some kind of installer so it can be
installed in the correct directory on multiple machines.

Also, will we have to create different versions of the template for each
version of Word / Windows?

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

re the second question, it depends what your templates are doing. In most
cases, if you develop in the earlier version (as long as its 97 or later)
you should be OK for later versions.
