how do i install microsoft office disc i have without the product

i previously purchased a microsoft office 2003 edition disc and i lost the
packaging it comes in.. well the product key code is on the back and i want
to install it to my computer... is there any way that i could possibly get
another product key or should i take it as a loss and just download a trial
version? i really like using microsoft office, microsoft word, etc but what
can i do without the product key.... also i wanted to know is it possible to
maybe use a copy of another microsodt disc that is installed on another
computer?
