how do I keep my full photo visable in a powerpoint presentation?

when I add a slide to my presentation, only a portion of it is visable as I
run the slide show.

Can you describe how it looks like when it is in normal mode? Does this apply
to both normal mode and slideshow? Or just the slideshow?
