How do I keep the help answer open while typing?

I search help, find an answer I would like to try, but as soon as I press any
key, the answer box goes away. How can I keep it open while I follow the
directions.

You didn't mention which version you're using, so I'll assume 2003.

You can TILE the windows to fill your screen either next to each other
or above/below. Right click your Taskbar at the bottom of the Windows
screen and click Tile Windows (choosing either Horizontal or
Vertical). Those screens that are maxed will tile. If you have other
windows open you don't want tiled, minimize them.

When finished...right click again and choose Undo Tile to return them
to full screen.

You're looking at the wrong place...that is the TOP of the software
application you are using. Look DOWN at the bar at the very bottom of
Windows...the same one that displays your Start button, open
applications, your clock, etc. THAT is your Taskbar. Find an empty
spot on that bar and RIGHT click to get the menu.

Hi P.K.,

You can grab a help window in an Office app and dock it
to the left or right side of the screen by drag-slamming
it into the side of the screen using your mouse.

There isn't a MS Office provided 'tack' choice (i.e. always on top)
utility for keeping the Window on top but there are 3rd party
ones.

I found out I have to view it as a split screen, then it stays. I can't have
the answer section open on top of the choices and actively type on the
screen. Only works in split screen mode. (P.S. I hate split screen.
Reduces the size of the screen you are looking at, so you lose perspective.)

Thansk for your help though.
