How do I know if it's trial or full version?

I bought a laptop and Office was preloaded. How can I find out if it's a
trial version or if it's a full version? This may sound like a stupid
question, but I can't find an answer to it. I've searched all the helps,
faq's and my own software.

Your receipt or the laptop paperwork will tell you. And presumably you know
what you purchased and didnt pay extra for Office?
In Word select Orb Btn>Word Options>Resources 'about.........'

All of the other answers are correct - but no one has mentioned the price.
Most boxed laptops come with the trial, not full version. Office is not
cheap and even the Home and Student Edition is going to add $160 to the
cost.

But then the OP would have known if they *bought* Office. More than likely
the computer was bought at whatever store and only had a trial version.)
