How do I know what device to download when burning a cd?

When trying to burn a cd I was unable to complete the process because the
program said they could not find a device. I have no idea what that means or
how to go about doing that. I have Windows Professional and have media player
an d realplayer. Any advice?

This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with Microsoft Project.
I suggest you try to find a more appropriate newsgroup that deals with
