How do I maintain format of worksheets when combining several?

I've combined several worksheets under one file name and would like to keep
the size, format of each one, i.e., size of columns. What happened was the
widest columns applied to all worksheets. Please advise on how I can
keep/maintain the size of columns of each worksheet.

Thank you.

I copied the other worksheets, pasted them on this one worksheet and use the
latter's file name as the name for the "new" worksheet which now has all the
other worksheets.

Well, if you pasted all the information into a single worksheet, there is no
way to change the size of a column for different sections of the worksheet;
you would have to use the width of the widest section for the entire
worksheet.
