How do I make a logo transluscent in Microsoft Picture Manager?

S

Santo

I cut and pasted my logo to picture manager but I also picked up the white
background. I want to paste it onto a green background page without having
the white background of the logo show up on the green background of the page.

Can someone help me?

They can probably help you in a Graphics oriented newsgroup.

You can make it transparent after you insert it in the page in FrontPage,by using the color
selector ( little pointy arrow looking thing ) on the image toolbar and then selecting the color you
want removed.

I've tried that but, while it looks OK locally on a browser (IE6), when
it's uploaded to the web host the white background is still there!

Oops, silly me! I thought the GIF file was actually embedded in the
document. Have uploaded the GIF as well and now it works!
