I have a single-slide PowerPoint presentation. On the slide isa movie that
begins automatically. I want the power point slide show to automatically
escape at the end of the movie. A timer won't work because someone might
choose to pause and resume the movie. What can I do?

Further information from Marty: I am running a playlist in PowerPoint Viewer.
I want the PowerPoint slide show to automatically advance to the next slide
show when each one finishes.

To add to Glenna's, if you save the file as a PPS and make sure your
"Tools", "Options" setting to "End with black slide" is turned off, it will
close after the time times out.

Thanks,

Glenna's suggestion isn't helpful to me because the timer starts when the
page opens. On the page is a wmv movie file. The player start time of the
movie is unpredictable from one computer (and one drive/media) to the next.

Bill's suggestion also is not helpful because it appears to me that the
Tools/Options "End with black slide" setting is computer specific. I cannot
pass on this option setting as part of the slideshow (ppt or pps seems to
have no significance to this).
