How do I make a template in excel?

How do I make a template in excel? Instead of copy last months numbers I
would like to have a template that I can put in nexts month tab. Thank you.

Hi,
When you have your sheet as you want it, without the monthly data, Save As,
then from the Save As Type drop-down, select Template.

I have excel 2007, but there is no template option in the drop-down menu
