I'm trying to create a game using powerpoint. I'm using autoshapes to cover
the answers. I want to know how to be able to cick the shape during the
presentation and make it disappear. I've tried custom animation but the
shapes disappear in order. The game is something like family fued.

If you are using PowerPoint 2002/XP and above, you can use Trigger animation
to do so.

To make the autoshape disappear only when you click on it:
Create the autoshape.
Click Slide Show > Custom Animation.
Click Add effect > Exit > Disappear.
Right click on the Exit effect, select Timing.
Click Triggers.
Select "Start effect on click of:"
Select the autoshape that you will be going to click on.
Click OK.
See if it works.
