how do i make hyperlinks the only way to change slides

In my PowerPoint 2003 version i would like for hyperlinks to be the only way
to get from slide to slide. I understand that under slide transition, the
click of the mouse feature can be taken off for slide transitions. However,
most mouses have a scroller between the mouse buttons, and that still can
change slides. I don't want the scoller to change slides either. Is what
i'm trying to do called hiding slides? I don't know. I just want to know
how to make hyperlinks the only way to get from slide to slide.

You will need to set it up into kiosk mode.
To do so, click Slide Show > Set up Show.
Under Show type, put a checkmark to "Browsed at a kiosk (full screen)".
Click OK.
Now test it out and see if that is what you want.
