How do I make my word program show full screen?

When I open Word, everything automatically gets smaller - shows only in about
the middle 1/2 of my screen. This doesn't happen with any of my other
programs. I am guessing there is some configuration or setting that needs to
be fixed, but I have no idea where to look. Has anyone else had this
problem? Any suggestions?

Try look on properties of word shortcut. You can select size of window
(normal, max, min).
