how do I make outlook today my default for e-mail

I would like to know how I can make outlook today my default for my e-mail.
Currently it is being sent to my outlook express.

a) Don't open Outlook Express and remove the mail accounts from it! (doh!)
b) "Outlook "today" is a page in Outlook, it's not the name of the client
c) Set up your mail account in Outlook, then go to Control Panel-Internet
Options, click on the "Programs" tab and make sure that Outlook is set as
the email client.

Start button > Control Panel > Internet Options > Programs tab. Choose
Outlook as your email program.
