I have put togrther a company budget of 8 million dollars and need to make a
pie chart. I can get the bar chart to work but not the pie. Can anyone give
me the correct way to make the pie chart. An example would be great. Thanks.

For a Pie Chart, all the Numbers you want to use must be in one Column or in
one Row. Then, use the Chart Wizard (the little button on the Standard
Toolbar that looks like a Column Chart). Walk through the steps making your
choices.
If you can't find the Toolbar Button, go to Insert | Chart.
