How do I make slides automatically advance on a revisit?

I have a series of slides that advance automatically, and then at the end it
goes to a different slide with an action button. Clicking the button returns
you to the first slide of that animation, so that it plays again. However,
when I go back, the slides no longer advance automatically. How do I fix
this? Can I fix this? Thanks.

Use the blank slide trick. Put a blank slide before the animated slides. Set
the blank slide to advance automatically after 0 seconds. Have your link go
to the blank slide. This should fix the problem.
