Public Function ReverseText(strIn As String) As String
Dim strOut As String
Dim i As Integer

For i = Len(strIn) To 1 Step -1
strOut = strOut & Mid(strIn, i, 1)
Next

ReverseText = strOut

End Function

......Ok, it took me a minute to figure that one out.

Of course, that just reverses the order... it doesn't reverse the letter
itself < g >

LOL. Appropriate reply!

Check your spelling, though. Spell-check doesn't work in this case! <bg>

Would spell-check catch that in any case, Van?

We are waiting for you to develop the smarter spell-checker software than
what is available at the moment.

You sound like the man for the job, ala Pierre de Fermat - "Prince of
Amateur" in Men of Mathematics by E.T. Bell. (Someone told me that Access is
your hobby - besides wines, I guess - and not what you earn your living
from. Is it true?)

Yeah, it's true. I occasionally build utilities for others at work, and
often (usually?) use Access to do this, but I'm technically not a developer
anymore (Not sure I ever officially was one...<g>)

OTOH, they did pull me into a development project last year because they
wanted to keep it off the official project radar...

That why I wrote 'ala Pierre de Fermat - "Prince of Amateur"'. Fermat is
just an amazing non-mathematician.

Is the smarter spell checker ready yet? <smile>
