How do I make text appear when I 'Mouse Over" a piece of text

How do I make text appear when I 'Mouse Over" a piece of text on a slide. I
undertand the Action buttons but I do not want to link to a doc just have a
text box appear when they mouse over certain areas of a slide.

Is there any way of doing something a bit more sophisticated (in PPT2000)
like showing a picture or formattable text box?

Chris,
Not that I know of. You could work with two slides, put an invisible
rectangle on top of the item and link that to the slide with the image. But
that is not a mouseover you will have to click to show the textbox or image.

Thanks Luc,
I have tried that technique with some success. Just hoping that there was
something more elegant that I had missed.
