how do I make the "importing image" pop-up box go away

steve

I have this subform that loads when I click a button. If a certain criteria
is met, certain images will load into the subform.

I want to figure out a way to make the little "importing (picture name)"
window not appear when the pictures are imported.

please help

Steve

Although I'm confident this message is part of an ongoing set of spam
messages posted from the same IP address, I'll post an answer anyway:

http://www.mvps.org/access/api/api0038.htm
API: Suppress the "Loading Image" dialog

In fact, there are two ways to do it shown on that page.

Ah, a sock puppet.

To whom it may concern -

While I originally thought that "steve" and "bob" were actually the same
person, spamming the newsgroups on behalf of Ammara, the company that
sells the DBPix image control for Access, I now believe that I was
mistaken, and that Ammara and Bob were as much victims of "steve's" spam
as all the rest of us in the newsgroups. Checking the post times, it
appears that "steve" began his rampage through the groups, citing
Ammara's website in his spam messages, *after* Bob's innocent, helpful,
and on-topic reply to the original post in this thread.

There's no knowing why "steve" decided to do what he has done, but I've
communicated with Bob at Ammara and I believe his assurances that he and
Ammara have nothing to do with "steve" and his moronic postings.

I apologize for jumping to conclusions.
