How do I make the picture I got into the background?

I cannot choose my background. The picture I wanted to be the background was
a image from google. When I browse for it, it has no such image, not even any
other images from google. I've tried many things including copy, browse then
paste, paste disabled.

You cannot insert an image directly from Google, you should save it to your
computer first.
And, please, tell us which version of PowerPoint you use.
