How do I manually uninstall Office 2002?

I have a corrupt installation of Office 2002 Small Business. I cannot run the
repair or the uninstall. I get error codes 1609 and 1610. How do I manually
uninstall Office 2002? I have seen the posts regarding removal of 2000. I
just want to verify that the registry entries are the same. Thanks every one
for your help.

How about renaming the folder where it is currently installed to
something else and then running the installation again? This should
ensure it does not use the same configurations.

When you are happy with the installation, just delete the renamed
folder.
