How do I move distribution lists to a new computer?

In moving to a new computer, I have exported my Outlook pst file and imported
it into the new computer. The group distribution lists are copied over, but
they all are empty. How do I get the populated distribution lists to carry
over. (I have many such lists, some with 50-100 entries each.)

Odd, you should only have to copy you existing *.PST files over if working
with distribution lists stored in the contacts folder. Can you give a run
down on the steps you are using?

DL's have never survived exports. That's one of many reasons exporting is a
poor way to transfer Contact data.

That's not the way to move your PST. Don't export. You can lose
information that way. Just close Outlook and copy the original PST. Put it
on the new PC's hard drive, make sure the read-only attribute is cleared and
open in in Outlook with File>Open>Outlook Data File.
