I would like to move my OFFICE 2003 software from my old computer to my new
one. How do I move everything, including the agreement?

If you have your Office CDs then just insert it in the Cd-drive and
follow the instaructions given on the screen.

I wish it was that simple. Microsoft recognizes that the software has been
installed on a different computer and that I am trying to use it twice. I
only want to use it on our new computer, not both computers.

During the activation process, you should see an option for calling Microsoft rather than activating over the Internet. Make the call and explain that you're moving Office to a new computer. They should be able to walk you through the process.

Office retail version allows you to install it on two systems.

If you have an OEM version then you can't install it on any other system
even if the old machine dies.

If you have students and Teachers version then you can install it on 3
systems with the same household.
