how do I open .1 file extensions

I am receiving a very lot of E-Mails with attachments that will not open.
They sre in the form of the following - "untitled -3.1.1" Example. They are
being forwarded from friend using Outlook Express. I use Outlook 2003. He can
open them ok. How do I open them?

If he can open them, you might want to ask him how he does
it...

It sounds like a mis-named file. I would ask your friend what
program launches when he opens the file. (Word, Excel, etc.)

download the file and open it by acrobat 8 or higher . it should open without a problem
