How do I open a form in add mode (not find the first record)?

After designing a new form and opening it up it finds the first record and
filles all of the fields with its info. How do I stop my program form doing
this? I want it to be in add mode when it is first opened.

Insert code in the ONOPEN event to goto a new record.

DoCmd.GoToRecord.acNew

 

[Sprinks]

Change the form's Data Entry property to "Yes".
