How do I open an Access database from web site

In previous versions of Access I was able to Open and Save Access files
directly to my websites from Access, from Explorer or from FrontPage.

Since I have upgraded to version 2003 when I try to open an access file from
the web it get an error message that tells me that the file in not an html
file or I may be trying to open a file from the web (duh!)

I now have to keep copies of the database on my PC make changes locally and
then use explorer or front page or some similar method. This becomes a real
pain when I need to work from some location other than the machine with all
the files on it.

have you tried creating a Data Access Page and pointing it to that database
to get teh information you need from it? Probably stupid but you do have
OWC11 installed as well?

Well now, that's a good question. It seems that the same weekend I changed
to 2003 the server also changed to 2003 and it locked down and/or changed a
lot of other stuff in the name of "security". I'll get with the server guy
and check it out. Thanks.
