How can I open an attachment that has been blocked by outlook because it
feels like it may be unsafe?

I think this is to advanced? It looks like if I zip the attachment and
resend it, I should be able to open it? Right

Panter,
The solution will vary based on the version of Outlook
you're using.
Outlook Express can be modified within the program itself:
Tools, Options, select the Security tab.
Remove the check from the "Do not allow attachments..."
box.
Click OK, exit and restart Outlook Express.
For regular Outlook versions, here are two links which may

Also, if your compnay has Outlook Web Access available,
you should be able to access your attachments using that
client instead as it is not governed by the security
elements of Outlook nor can the same types of code execute
the same way, hence it's a bit lax.
