How do I open my .msg files from "Documents"?

When I click open on files saved as .msg in my "Documents" on Windows Vista,
I am taken to Office 2007 - and then nothing more is happening. How do I
proceed to open those files?

Uninstall Google Desktop Search and try again. They've released a version
which causes this issue.
