I have dnlded the converter pack for Excel XP Office and .wb1 is not listed
as a possable file extention. I also have office 2000 will it open .wb1
files? Does the Excel 2000 need a converter as I have tried to open .wb1 in
Excel 2000 and had no sucess. I have over 250 files in .wb1

Welcome to the News Groups for Microsoft Access, the most popular database
in the world! Since this News Group is dedicated to dealing with the issues
of the database application from the Microsoft Office suite, you may receive
quicker (and possibly correct!) answers by posting your question in the
Microsoft.Public.Excel News Groups.

If your converter doesn't work, then you may need to open your 250 files in
Quattro Pro and convert each of them to a *.CSV format so that Excel will be
guaranteed to read them.

I'd suggest asking this in an Excel newsgroup (there are several that start
microsoft.public.excel, although I suspect microsoft.public.excel.123quattro
would be the most appropriate one)

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.
