how do i place my new email account in it's own folder with inbox

i have two other email folders one hotmail and one school (imap4). When I
try to add another school (pop3) it adds the account, then places the folder
in archives, anywhere but in it's own folder with the others. Any ideas?

Unless you're using your Archive PSt as your delivery location, what you
state can't be true. However, all POP accounts will share one set of
folders, the delivery location. You can create an extra folder and use a
rule to refile incomng POP mail into that folder if you wish, but why
bother? Just let it stay in the default Inbox. Add the Accounts field to
the column headers and you'll know where it came from. You can also use a
filter to give it another color if you wish.
