how do i play a diffrent background audio on diffrent slides

building an audio quiz i need to either play the the answer audio whilst text
transitions are taking place or have the audio as background music whilst
text transition are taking place

Are you referring to custom animation? Transtitions occur only on slides.
What sound format are you using?
If it is a wav format, you can double click on the animations you have
added, then add the sound under enhancements.

If it is in other formats such as mp3, click Insert > Movies and Sounds >
Sound from file. Add the sound and select automatically. Set it to With
Previous and have the order right under the text animation.
