How do I play music in place of the sound that is on a movie file.

Hi,
I am trying to create a movie of my son and I have put together some images
into a movie..the problem is my husband is yapping in the background and I
want to set the movie to music that I have selected. How do I take out the
background noise and insert my music selection?

Your best best is a commercial video editing product, but if you have XP,
Windows Movie Maker is free.
