In Microsoft Word 2003 how do i control the vertical position (top, centre or
bottom) of horizontally aligned text in a text box?

You can't do this directly in Word (as you can in Publisher), but you can
fake it. Insert a single-cell borderless table in the text box and set the
vertical alignment in the table cell. The only alternative is to add Space
Before to the text in the text box.

It requires code to do it near-perfectly, Mick. But I just choose my text
and hit Format-->Paragraph and play with the values in Space before.
