How do I pre-select the physical size of photos in word?

When I insert a picture into a word documrent I want the size to be 4 x 5.34
inches. Is this possible? I know I can change the size after its inserted
but this means I have to change the size of every picture each time it is
inserted.

Thanks
Bernie

You could first create a table of Fixed Width and Fixed height before
pasting the picture into it!.

Hope this gives you an idea how to do it.

Hi Anonymous

Thanks for the info but I don’t want to create additional steps by working
with tables.

When I insert a picture from file I click on the picture, then select
Format>Picture>Size and then I enter the size that I want the picture to
become. This works, but I am trying to eliminate these steps by having the
pictures pre-sized.

Thanks again

Then continue working as before as Word does not yet contain a silver
bullet to accomodate your wishes!.

No you can't do it. There is no ESP embedded in Office packages to know
what you intend to do. You want to pre-size the photos but others may
not want to do this so how can office accomodate wishes of these two
disparate individuals?

I found the answer. I have Photoshop elements 4.0 on my computer. In PE
4.0 select File>Process multiple files. Select the folder the photos are in.
Choose the size you want the photos to be. Press OK. Turn off PS 4.0 and
the files in windows will forever remain the size you requested.

Thanks for the input
