How do I prevent an appointment from being added to my calendar v.

I do not want an appointment to ever be added to my calendar via an email
from a third party. How do I do that?

That doesn't seem possible. When you receive an event request, Outlook will
always show it in your Calendar as "Tentative" until you accept or decline
it. Only if you receive it as an attachment to a message do you have
complete control.
