How do I prevent my Outlook from downloading the same e-mail?

I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2002 as my default e-mail application. Not like
using the Outlook Express, this Microsoft Outlook is keep downloading the
same e-mail so many times. How do I prevent this problem happen again.
