How do I prevent Task Information from disappearing?

When I re-open a document in Project 2003, some of my tasks have vanished.
The [-] sign appears, but the line is blank. There are often a number of
blank lines between one entry and the next.

Has this happened to you? Or is there anyone that knows how to prevent it?

I've checked the filter, the contraint dates, everything suggest in the
help. No luck.

Hello Nancy,

Many of my students get the same phenomenon after they "validate" an entry
by a savage Click anywhere on the screen. "Anywhere" is often the frame of a
cell which , so, is moved from one row to another.
