how do i print on note card?

i need to print on a 5.5 x 8.5 fold down note card (thank you card style). I
have tried labels, changing margins, printer properties, etc..........my prob
is i can't get the printer to actually recognize card size, feed, and
essentially print....please help Nikki

If the printer is not designed to handle that size paper, it isn't going
to work. Read the printer manual!
