HOW DO I PROTECT HEADERS & FOOTERS FROM BEING CHANGED

I have created an electronic letterhead using grahics and text within the
header and footer and need to protect these from changes or from being moved.

Also tried creating a word version with protection enforced, but was then
unable to change the formatting for anything added to the document which had
not been protected initially.................. driving me maddddddddddddd

This is a solution posted by macropod to a previous thread:

"If you insert a continuous Section break as the first character in the body
of your document, then protect the document for forms
(protecting only Section 1), the users will be unable to change the header
contents. Note, though, that this disables various other
editing options also."

Hope it helps

Many Thanks - that worked a tread. Next job now involves a this protected
header/footer sheet but with a contination sheets with a different header
which is unprotected. Can this be done?

Your advice would be most appreciated.
