How do I put my own picture into a clip art border?

I want to take a picture border I found in clip art and insert my own family
picture into it, but I can't figure out how. Microsoft clip art "how to's"
talk about replacing it and whatnot but not that, near as I can figure anyway.

I'm not entirely clear on whether you're trying to put the border around a
family picture or make a border using the family picture. If the latter, see
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/BorderArt.htm. If the former, you'll need
to insert the border Behind Text and then insert your picture either In Line
With Text or In Front of Text; if you have to use In Front of Text to get it
properly aligned, then you can probably also insert the border In Line With
Text.
