how do I put page numbers on my document?

I want excel to print page numbers automatically on the rpinted document, no
matter what the page length, or formatting. In other words, if I add a line
in excel, then everything gets adjusted down past the page break and the page
number will stay with the page break. I want it printed, not necessarily in
the spreadsheet itself. I don't want to have to worry about keeping track of
damned page numbers every time I go to edit my document. So how does this
damned program do it? No where is it in the help files in the program or
online, and I know it can be done, I saw my X-wife type stuff up using this
FAT program and she did it. So what am I missing here?

AMU,
File >Page Setup >Headers/Footer >Custom Header/Footer
and then there is a button for adding in the page number,
just choose where you want it

also, this is the newsgroup for FrontPage, not Excel

Alot, it seems, including your wife.

I searched in damned Excel after pushing the damned help menu damned item -
you could also use the damned F1 key -, and when the damned help window came
up, I typed "page number" in the damned search box and it came up with a
damned list of possibilties. Then I clicked one of the damned items, and I'l
be damned, it had the damned answer right there.

Maybe you should buy a damned book, or try the damned excel news group
instead of the damned FP web news group - I don't know, dammit!

You should probably check out the damned spell-checcker too. Then you might
not be so damned "Aggrivated".

I find it damned hard to believe that you have an ex-wife. Did she run off
with the damned milk man?
