how do I query on same students with different dates

I have a query that outputs to MS access, this query has all the last dates
for students on different courses, I'm wanting to pull out a list of students
with their last dates they attended.

i.e. Mark jones | psychology | 23-nov-2004
Mark Jones | psychology | 24-nov-2004

I vant a query just to display : Mark Jones | psychology | 24-nov-2004
