How do i re-install an already activated product on same PC?

I have a purchased copy of Microsoft office (not OEM) and I did a system
recovery on my laptop, but when I do this and re-install MS office - I can't
re-ativate it - becase it says product already activated.

How can I re-activated a product that I own after re-installing it on the
same PC?

Do the products function? Can you open/edit/create/save files? If so
then there isn't anything to worry about.
