How do I read emails in their source font and format in Outlook 20

P

I have my Hotmail account set up on Outlook 2007.

I would like to be able to read my email messages in their source/original
font and format.

Right now, all emails in my Inbox appear in the Calibri font.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply.

But to be make my question more precise, I would like to be able to view the
email with the fonts and colours that the sender has used to compose it. I
am using Outlook 2007 and it shows all texts in received emails as Calibri.

Isn't there any options/checkbox such as "Read emails with sender's format"?

There seems to be only options for outgoing mail...

plain text email does not contain formatting - its plain text just like in
notepad, nothing more, nothing less. They'd have to send you HTML formatted
messages if they want you to see the message using their favorite fonts.

Ok i understand.

But what i meant is, for example:

A friend sends me an email in "Verdana" and another friend sends me an email
in "Arial".
When I open the emails in Outlook 2007, both emails appear in "Calibri".

Any suggestions for that?

Thank you.

AND you would have to have their "favorite" fonts installed on your
system.

If they are plain text, outlook has no idea what fonts your friends used -
the message just contains the words they wrote to display to you, nothing
about what font they used. if they would use html, font information would be
included in the message - outlook sees this and displays the message in that
font, if it is installed, otherwise it uses another font from the same
'family'.

if you want to see all of your plain text mail in veranda or Arial you need
to change the font in tools, options, mail format.
