How do I recover an Excel file I accidentally deleted?

I accidentally deleted an excel file that I now need. Is there any way to
recover it?

Look in the "Recycle Bin" on your Windows desktop. Whether you can recover
this file (absent a backup) is a Windows function, not an Excel function.
