How do I recover deleted emails?

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to recover some emails I deleted some months ago. I use
Windows XP, and MS Outlook 2002.

As I said, some months ago I moved several emails (some were a year
old, so I can't recover them from my email account's web server) that
were in my Inbox and my Sent folder to the Deleted Items folder. Then
I emptied the Deleted Items folder. Now I realize I need some of those
emails, and I'm trying to find a way to get them back.

In MS Outlook 2002 one can't go to the files menu (at least I think
it's that menu) and choose restore files. This is possible in other MS
Outlook versions.

I have two pst files. One is called archieve.pst. That one I can
import to Outlook, and I can read those emails. However, the other pst
file is even bigger, but when I import it I can't find any new email.
Why is that, and how should I do to recover my lost email? I mean, the
data must be stored somewhere on my computer's hard drive, right?

If someone can answer this I'd be very greatful!

If you emptied the deleted items folder, chances are, they are gone for
good.

From the "Deleted Items" folder..click on "Tools, Recover Deleted
Items"..all items deleted from the deleted items folder reside here..if you
are on an Exchange server that feature must be activated in order
for it to work. :)

If she's using a PST file (as she states in her question) that won't work.

When you delete email messages from your Inbox or folders, the messages aremoved to your Trash folder. Emails that are less than 24 hours old will remain in the Trash folder for an additional 24 hours before being permanently deleted. Emails more than 24 hours old are immediately deleted and cannotbe recovered. If the message still appears in the Trash folder, move it back to your Inbox or an email folder. If you still cannot reover your lost emails, I think you can try the restoration tool. My friend used to use the Data Reovery, maybe you can look at it. http://www.transfer-iphone-recovery..com/recover-deleted-emails.html

I hope these can help you solve your problem. Good Luck!!
