How do I recover the files and software that went into recovery d.

Recently my HP Pavilion crashed and I went through the recovery process in
which I lost all my Word and Excell files that I thought were retrievable in
the recovery drive D however I can't get any Office program to run and no
longer have my disc.

Is there any way I can get this info and the program back ?

JTDFLexKy,
If you used your HP recovery disk(s) your drive was most likely partitioned
and your the files and settings on your original oem install are no longer
recoverable without a backup.
