I deleted microsoft office 20000 and cannot reinstall. I have the disks.

How did you delete Office 2000?
Did you delete the files from c:\Program Files?
Or did you do an uninstall.

Error 1919 Error configuring ODBC Dbase files error 6: component not found
in registry.
I'm instructed to delete a GUIP (?) file but I can't find it anywhere.
The installation stops and backs up.
